Aliro executives have joined the 2025 Chain Reaction Challenge in New Zealand, raising over $258,000 to support So They Can and HopeStreet’s life-changing community programs.
Last Sunday, our Aliro Group Executive Chairman David Southon, Executive Director & Chief Delivery Officer Andrzej Masztak, Senior Transactions Manager Kevin Kuechler and NOVUS’ Chief Development Officer Jason Goldsworthy commenced the 2025 Chain Reaction Challenge Foundation Sydney 7 Day Challenge.
The 2025 ride takes place on the North Island of New Zealand where the Aliro Group/So They Can team will tackle an impressive 1,000km with an elevation of close to 14,000m from Auckland to Lake Taupo.
The Aliro Group/So They Can team currently lead the fundraising efforts, having already raised over $258,000! Special mention to David Southon who has raised $46,641 and sits 2nd in the individual fundraising standings. He’s followed closely by Andrzej Masztak in 3rd place, having raised $31,220. Collectively, those partaking in the Sydney 7 Day Challenge have raised $1,102,883 eclipsing their target of $1,100,000. These donations will greatly assist So They Can in their efforts to break the poverty cycle through better education and community development, achieving generational and sustainable change for children in Kenya and Tanzania, particularly young females. More specifically, they are preventing primary-aged girls from losing their education due to pregnancy as a result of sexual violence, ending child marriage, stopping female genital cutting and keeping girls in school.
The other Major Charity Partner for the ride is HopeStreet, who support young families fleeing unsafe environments due to domestic violence.
Thank you to Chain Reaction Challenge Foundation for hosting and our corporate sponsors alongside Aliro Group for their generous support – CBRE, FDC Construction & Fitout, Mizuho | Greenhill & Co., ISPT, Clayton Utz, Westpac, Equity Development Management , AT&L, Chapalex Advisory and NOVUS. Thanks also to Thursday Design who have kindly donated their time to professionally design the team kit for the 6th year running!
