Aliro is installing EV charging infrastructure at our sites to support customer demand for electric vehicles

Aliro is pleased to support Woolworths in their goal of transitioning to an entirely electric-powered delivery truck network by 2030.
Of the 27 new electric vehicles added to their fleet, 17 will operate out of the new Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) at our TripleTwoNine Estate in Caringbah (NSW).
To accommodate these vehicles, the Aliro Development Team worked with FDC Construction and Fitout to modify existing infrastructure and facilitate the installation of new charging units. As EV charging units can lead to higher rates of energy consumption, we’re also investigating how additional rooftop solar PV, battery energy storage systems, and demand management software can reduce the carbon impact of these technologies.
We are seeing customer demand for low or zero emission transport services increasing across the rest of our portfolio and the broader Industrial & Logistics sector. To cater for changing customer preferences, we are provisioning for on-site EV charging at all new development projects and are engaging with existing tenants on opportunities to upgrade stabilised assets.
