Aliro has completed Warehouse 2 at Somerville Road, welcoming Effective Logistics as a major tenant in the 73,503 sqm Stage 2 development.
Aliro Group, on behalf of the Aliro Group Industrial Vehicle (AGIV), is proud to announce the practical completion of Warehouse 2, part of Stage 2 of the Somerville Road project in Tottenham, VIC.
Delivered in partnership with Texco Construction, Stage 2 spans 73,503 sqm and targets a 5 Star Green Star – Design & As Built v1.3 rating, reflecting our commitment to sustainable, high-performance industrial spaces.
Warehouse 2, which achieved practical completion in early April, features a 51,362sqm ambient warehouse split into four tenancies. We’re excited to welcome Effective Logistics, who have signed a 5-year lease for 30,428sqm (Warehouses 2B and 2D). A key player in the Australian logistics and supply chain sector, Effective Logistics’ decision to join the Somerville Road Estate is a strong endorsement of the estate’s prime location, flexibility, and operational efficiency.
Looking ahead, construction of the 22,141sqm freezer facility (Warehouse 3) is progressing well, with practical completion targeted for October 2025. Designed with flexibility in mind, the facility can be configured into two tenancies and features four independent temperature-controlled chambers.
Aliro is thrilled to see the vision for Somerville Road coming to life — creating a premium industrial estate that will drive long-term employment and economic growth for Tottenham and Melbourne’s inner west.
